This painting is based on text about the gruesome 'Aktion Reinhard' in Nazi-Germany. The aim of this operation was to exterminate Jews in German-occupied Poland. Extermination camps with gas chambers were set up for this purpose in Belzec, Sobibor and Treblinka. Jews from other coutries, gypsies and other persecuted groups were also killed here in the years 1942 and 1943.

In this painting, several layers of text are painted on top of one another and have been treated in various ways resulting in an illegible textual structure.
